WHY BOTHER TO COMMENT?… Public feedback is a critical part of a functioning democracy, and the public comment portal is an opportunity for Rowan County voters to advocate to the NC State Board of Elections for Plan C. The additional Saturday and Sunday would give our citizens more options of when to vote to accommodate their busy schedules. Submit your opinion to the public portal ASAP before it closes on Monday, August 17. https://www.ncsbe.gov/public-comment-portal-2026-non-unanimous-early-voting-plans
The day has arrived for each of us to take action to convince the NC State Board of Elections that as a Rowan County voter, you support Plan C as the only fair compromise between the two plans that will be presented, Plan C, 15 days with a full weekend and Plan A, legislated minimum with 13 days and one Saturday – Halloween.
