Due to the ongoing federal shutdown, SNAP benefits will not be funded in November. This will impact millions of people across the country, including over 20,000 people in Rowan County who rely on SNAP to provide food for their families. We have several food pantries and blessing boxes in Rowan County, but these resources can be difficult to find.

Our friends at Salisbury Indivisible created an online map of free resources in Rowan County that includes food pantries, blessing boxes, and free community meals, along with clothing closets, water refill stations, parks, and free little libraries.
