The United States president should be a person of good moral character — Trump is not.
The Epstein File Transparency Act was signed into law by the president on 11-19-25. There is evidence that Trump appears in those files and was also involved in the sexual abuse of underage girls. Trump has done everything possible to prevent the full disclosure of those files. Trump had already been found liable for sexual abuse, battery and defamation in civil lawsuits brought by E. Jean Carroll.
The United States president was convicted of 34 felonies for falsifying business records relating to hush money payments and shouldn’t be able to continue to serve as president. Trump continues to serve.
The United States president shouldn’t retain confidential and other government documents that should automatically transfer to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) upon the president’s departure from office. Trump kept such documents when leaving office in 2020.
The United States president shouldn’t try to convince the Georgia Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, to find 11,780 votes in his favor to change the 2020 election results. Trump personally made such a phone call.
The United States president should be respected by his constituents. Trump is not.
The United States president should be respected by leaders of foreign nations — Trump is not. He’s not trusted by NATO members and our other allies. He’s easily manipulated by the autocratic leaders of other countries.
The United States president should choose his cabinet based on their expertise and experience. Trump’s cabinet was chosen based on their unquestionable loyalty to Trump. In terms of their expertise, competence, experience, operational effectiveness and ethical standards, they are the most unqualified and inept cabinet in the history of the United States.
The United States president should not lie. Trump lies all the time.
While campaigning for the 2024 election, Trump said he’d lower prices on food, utilities, gas and many other goods and reduce inflation on day one of his presidency. Instead, prices have increased substantially and continue to rise.
Trump also claimed he’d end the war between Russia and Ukraine on day one. Sixteen months’ later the war is still ongoing.
Trump said that if he were president, the attack by Hamas that started the war between Hamas in Gaza and Israel on 10-7-23 would never have happened. He repeatedly claimed that he’d end the war in Gaza. There are still Israel attacks in Gaza and the Palestinians are living under deplorable conditions.
The United States president shouldn’t be able to pardon people who have committed serious crimes. On day one of his second term, Trump pardoned everyone who was involved and identified in the attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6 (2021). In addition, people who were found guilty of corruption and sexual misconduct were also pardoned.
Trump has all the characteristics of a dictator and he want to be the most feared and most revered person in the world. On 9-25-25, the U.S. military began executing airstrikes on vessels in the Caribbean Sea under the guise that they were fighting illicit drug trafficking from Latin America to the U.S.
On 1-3-26, Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro and wife Cilia Flores were captured by U.S. forces, transported to the U.S. and charged with drug trafficking. Trump and his administration made it clear that access to Venezuela’s oil was the main reason for this action. Experts said the raid violated the U.N. Charter and Venezuela’s sovereignty.
More recently, Trump bombed Iran at the behest of Israel without Congressional approval claiming Iran had a nuclear weapon that was an imminent threat to the United States. This proved to be untrue and has resulted in many injuries and the death of 13 U.S. troops. Trump’s ultimatums to Iran change almost daily.
Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz and is now deciding which nations’ ships could pass through the strait after paying a toll. Trump retaliated by blocking Iran’s ports. Gas prices have soared!
Trump’s rants on socials media have become more unhinged, from his threats to annihilate Iran’s’ entire civilization, his vile language on Easter Sunday, his disrespectful remarks about Pope Leo and his likening himself to Jesus Christ.
