Rowan County Democrats are excited to announce that Rob Schofield, award-winning journalist and recently retired editor and senior contributor at NC Newsline is the guest speaker at the Saturday, September 13th, breakfast. Newsline, a nonpartisan nonprofit news organization, and Schofield are known for “fearless reporting and hard-hitting commentary” as illustrated in his recent Op-ed, “Chemotherapy for democracy.”

The Rowan County Democratic Party promotes the platform, candidates, and issues of the Democratic Party, specifically those that impact the current residents of Rowan County. As national issues are affecting us more and more on a local level, we open our doors to all who are looking for community. The RCDP focuses on  providing opportunities that connect residents with the knowledge to look directly at how policy affects us all and to become better informed voters. You do not have to be a registered Democrat to attend this event.
