- JULY 12th – RCDP BREAKFAST – Join us for our July breakfast on Saturday, July 12th at 10:00 am. The topic of the meeting will be “Making Good Trouble” – applying the challenge of civil rights leader John Lewis to the steps we need to take today. Geoffrey Hoy, Chair of the RCDP, will be the speaker. All are welcome and you do not need to be a registered Democrat to attend. If possible, please bring a dish to share at our regular monthly potluck. Doors open at 9:45.(at HQ)
- JULY 12th – SALISBURY VIGIL – 6-7 pm – Community Interfaith Prayer Vigil devoted to the safety of immigrants in our community. This is a permitted event and will be a peaceful gathering of residents concerned that all people who live in our community are treated with respect and if arrested be granted their right of habeas corpus. (Held in front of County Admin Bldg, 130 W. Innes St. Salisbury)
- JULY 15th – SENIOR DEMS – 1:00 pm, (at HQ)
- JULY 17th – MAKING GOOD TROUBLE, NO KINGS RALLY – Rowan County nonpartisan organizations, Salisbury Indivisible and Women for Community Justice, invite the community to join them on Thursday, July 17th, from 5-7 pm at the intersection of Innes and Church Streets. Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people. (Held at Church and Innes St,)
- JULY 19th – CHINA GROVE FARMERS DAY – Volunteer to work the RCDP and meet folks who would like to know more about local Democrats and also help people learn how to register. You will be trained. (Held in China Grove)
- JULY 25th – DEMS AFTER DARK – Relax and enjoy laughter, community, and conversation on Friday, July 25th, at 6:00 pm with a Dems After Dark meet-up at the White Rabbit Cocktail Parlour, 5 Easy St, Salisbury, NC 28144.
- JULY 26th – DEM WOMEN ORGANIZING SATURDAY, 11:00 am, (at HQ)
- JULY 29th – BLUE WAVE BOOKWORM BOOK CLUB, 1:30 pm, (at HQ)
