The Two Nanas, Pam & Nan, are reminding us that this Wednesday, August 6th, at 12:30, the Rowan County Board of Elections will vote on one of 4 Early Voting plans for the 2025 Municipal Elections. Located within Rowan Community Center, previously known as West End Plaza or the old mall, 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd West, Salisbury, NC.

They suggest that you arrive at 12:15 pm for the 12:30 meeting and remind: “There is a public comment period, however your presence alone speaks volumes. There’s nothing quite like a huge crowd.”

The 4 plans follow: (The Two Nanas suggest Plan C “as a fair option for municipal elections as traditionally turnout is smaller than during a general election. Plan C begins with 9 consecutive days, a weekend break followed by 6 additional consecutive days. • Plan A: 13 days Includes (1) Saturdays – Beginning Thursday, October 16th and ending Saturday, November 1st, Monday through Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.Saturday, November 1st – 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (*Includes only legally required dates and times.)

• Plan B: 14 days Includes (2) Saturdays – Beginning Thursday, October 16th and ending Saturday, November 1st, Monday through Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.Saturday, October 18th, and November 1st – 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Plan C: 15 days Includes (2) Saturdays and (1) Sunday Beginning Thursday, October 16th and ending Saturday, November 1st, Monday through Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18th, and November 1st – 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. -Sunday, October 19th – 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Plan D: 17 days Includes (3) Saturdays and (2) Sundays – Beginning Thursday, October 16th and ending Saturday, November 1st, Monday through Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18th, October 25th, and November 1st – 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.Sunday, October 19th, and October 26th – 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
