INFO FROM CITY OF SALISBURY – DATA CENTER POSSIBILITY

The City of Salisbury has launched a data center information website to address citizens’ concerns and questions following last week’s meeting. This site includes the PowerPoint from the recent town hall meeting and will be updated to include responses to specific questions.

Excerpt from the site:

Thank you for visiting the Data Center information site. This will serve as a location to share information and materials associated with the proposed project.

The City has received interest from a developer, Trammell Crow, and data center company, Flexential, to construct and operate a data center on about 94 acres of land at 1477 Henderson Grove Church Road in Salisbury.  The facility would be approximately 400,000 square feet. The project has not been approved.

The City has established this webpage to share information with the public on the process and the project and to address questions/concerns received from the public meeting…

…Please check this page periodically for responses to questions from the public meeting and updates on the process and project.
