Like many Americans, I am horrified by what is happening in Minnesota and across our country. These actions are being taken in our name, “we the people,” and funded by our taxes.

Like many Americans, I am horrified by what is happening in Minnesota and across our country.

Sadly, this violence was completely predictable. The scene was set by consistently demonizing brown people, those who speak a language other than English, or those with opposing political beliefs. And then arming nameless, faceless, federal agents who are given zero restraints and told they have absolute immunity.

These actions are being taken in our name, “we the people,” and funded by our taxes.

i hope that decent people of all political persuasions will see that these actions do not live up to the ideals our nation was founded on.

If this disturbs you as well, I urge you to let Senator Tillis and Budd and Rep. McDowell, know that the American people expect, and demand, better.
