On Friday, April 24,2026, the Rowan Board of Elections swore in two new Democratic representatives, Evelyn Medina and DeeDee (Doris D.) Wright. We thank both for their oath to protecting our voting process as Rowan County Election Board members. We also recognize our former representatives, Catrelia Hunter and Kenneth Stutts, for their commitment to service to their community and to the sanctity of our election process. We wish Dr. Hunter great enjoyment as she turns her focus to more hours of retirement and time with friends and family. We wish Mr. Stutts the best as he moves to a new home and work in western NC. Thank you for a job well done.
