There was a time when the presidency was held in high esteem and presidents would choose their words very meticulously.

The disrespect is real. President Trump has now posted threats to the pope. The pope who represents over 1.3 billion Catholics worldwide stands as a figure of moral integrity and through the Holy Spirit guides his followers. It is discouraging and sad that we have a president that does not have any filters or boundaries as to who he insults. There was a time when the presidency was held in high esteem and presidents would choose their words very meticulously. It would be normal to have a president that leads with integrity and respect for everyone, the things Trump says we wouldn’t say to our neighbors let alone a pope who represents faith and godliness. How sad that a pope would be condemned for wanting peace.
