Don’t miss Deedee Wright, Black History maker at Senior Dems on Tuesday, 2/17, at 1:00 pm. A contemporary of the late Rev. Jesse Jackson, Deedee brings a wealth of information to this meeting.

Rowan County Democrats will meet on Tuesday, February 17th, at 1:00 pm and are excited to announce Ms. Deedee Wright as our guest speaker. A local resident, Ms. Wright is a Civil Rights Activist, Black History Maker, Community Leader, author, and President of the West End Neighborhood Organization (WENO). She will speak on The Civil Rights Movement, Black History and current events. Deedee is a speaker you won’t want to miss. 

The Rowan County Democratic Party promotes the platform, candidates, and issues of the Democratic Party, specifically those that impact the current residents of Rowan County. RCDP focuses on providing program opportunities that connect residents with the knowledge to look directly at how policy affects us all and to become better informed voters.
