We did it! RCDP raised over $13,000 during our recent fundraising drive – and thanks to a matching grant, that means we raised over $23,000!!

The appeal was began by an anonymous challenge of a $10,000 matching grant. More than 100 donors gave gifts ranging from $5 to $1,000. The final tally of $13,294 was revealed at the November monthly breakfast, where it was also announced that the anonymous donor was the county chair, Geoffrey Hoy. When combined with the matching grant, the Rowan County Democratic Party raised a total of $23,294.

Now, we’re putting those funds to work. Beginning in January 2026, we’re kicking off year-round organizing with regular door knocking, phone calls, and voter outreach. Thank you to everyone who is making it possible for us to keep building grassroots power in Rowan County.
