Let us hope that the BBB which includes 17 million people who will have no health coverage won’t get sick. Let us further hope that the CUTS to health and nutrition programs for schools and low-income families, those people will have access to bed and breakfast at Mar-a-Lago.

On second thought, let’s give Trump credit for (1) his ability to create “acronyms,” (2) a few suggestions, and (3) his “knowledge” on how to eliminate the “obstacles” in his path to fiefdom.

Acronyms:                                                                                                                             

• MAGA – Make America Great Again                                                                                        
• BBB – Big Beautiful Bill    

Suggestions:                                                                                                                           

• DEI – Deport Every Immigrant (DEI used to be Diversity, Equity, Inclusion.)
• CUTS – Children Under Trump Starve – (my interpretation of the BBB)

Obstacles: The Supreme Court: He manipulated six members of the Supreme Court and had them reinterpret the law and the Constitution to suit his purposes. 

• The Supreme Court lost its place in the equation of the three branches of government.
• The YES members in his cabinet were appointed specifically to say “YES” to his every wish and order and to make them possible. Perhaps, to fill their pockets!
• Congress – He has turned his stooges in Congress into a group with no voice, no backbone and no decency. Were they “elected” to serve the people, or to serve this narcissistic ego maniac and kiss the ring — which is what the Republicans are doing.

Here is a quote from Speaker Mike Johnson, “… my leadership style is that I try to be a servant leader … I know what every member of this body brings to the table …”

This sounds like baby gibberish. What exactly is a servant leader? (MJ said, “God called me to be a servant leader.)

Johnson and his fellow minions in the Republican Congress have lost their minds, their integrity, and perhaps are hanging on to see how much, how deep their pockets are. Congress also sold its place in the equation of the three branches of government. So, we now have one branch of government. The president is the government. 

Call it fiefdom, call it kingdom, it means one-man control. Anarchy? Fascism? Scary!

And we the people have lost our voices. When people are silent, they lose their power and control of their government. Check with President Lincoln — he said this 160 years ago.

And, how about when the president declared at that rally on July 4th that he hates Democrats.

He said in his most pathetic voice that, “Not one Democrat voted for my Big Beautiful Bill …I hate the Democrats.” And his audience clapped their hands at these hateful words.

What kind of mindless people would clap their hands when their leader declares he hates half of America? 

During the 2024 campaign, Trump referred to Democratic voters as “the enemy within” and Americans who disagreed with him as “evil.” To disagree means to be evil? The enemy?

And where is the outrage of Trump supporters who claim to be Christians? Before man and God, we should love and respect our fellow humans. Isn’t that what the Bible says?

. Trump, you should apologize to all the people in this country for such stupid words. And since you hardly think before you speak it may be “easy” to forgive your ignorance.

Mr. Johnson, you have done a great job intimidating and brainwashing half of Congress and have made the Supreme Court the laughing stock of the intelligentsia.

And now D.C. has become a police state. Which city is next? Salisbury?

And America, what are we doing about it? It is we the people who are heading for our own demise. Let us reread our history and understand where we came from, and where we are going. Do we want the present, or do we want to continue building a better future for the generations to come?

When people are silent, their freedom is on the chopping block. Solution: Vote!

Democracy is not a word. It is a way of life. The American way. Our way of life. Vote!

We need a president for all the people, not some of the people. Solution: Vote!

When the election is over, the president serves all the people, not half the people. However, it takes a degree of intelligence to bridge the divide and it seems as if this Oval Office lacks this intelligence.
