As well as congratulating the newly elected candidates that are registered Democrats, RCDP wants to thank all candidates for stepping forward with dedication and a commitment to service to their communities with their step of running for elected office. Links below for a complete list of the new municipal boards across Rowan County. And don’t miss our final smile.

In the past few weeks candidates and RCDP volunteers have worked diligently to live up to the mission of the Rowan County Democratic Party. “The mission of the Rowan County Democratic Party is to promote the platform, candidates, and issues of the Democratic Party, specifically those that impact the current residents of Rowan County.” We could not be more proud at the end of the 2025 Municipals.

As in all elections, only a handful of candidates win and take office. The strength we saw from the 2025 slate of registered Democratic candidates signals the commitment of many strong contenders as progressive representation within Rowan County continues to grow.

If you would like to say thank you, the 2025 candidate tab, https://rowancountydemocrats.com/whos-on-your-ballot-2025-municipal-candidates/, is still available for a list of all who ran.

And let us not forget our many volunteers this fall, including phone bankers (approximately 4,000 calls were made), those knocking on doors, those working as poll greeters, and each one of you who voted!

NC had no state issues on the ballot in 2025, however, Democrats won big across the nation! Dare we call it a mandate in response to MAGA?

HERE’S YOUR SMILE.
