The Early Voting period for the 2024 General Election begins on Thursday, Oct. 17th, and ends on Saturday, Nov. 2. There are 17 consecutive days of Early Voting and in addition to weekdays, includes 3 Saturdays and 2 Sundays.

Registered voters or eligible individuals in North Carolina may cast a ballot in person during this time. This period is sometimes called “one-stop early voting.”

During early voting, voters may cast a ballot at any early voting site in their county, and voters needing to register may same-day register and vote. This is different from Election Day, where registered voters must vote only at their assigned polling place and are not allowed to register on Election Day.
