It takes so many volunteers to keep the Rowan County Democratic Party running year round. The Family Fun Fest is a huge production that needs its own moment of gratitude.

Many thanks to organizer Dianne Sartiano, RCDP secretary, and Geoffrey Hoy, RCDP chair. They both, along with other dedicated volunteers, were prepping and cooking days in advance, loading and unloading tables and chairs and food and sound systems and raffle items and then loading it all up again to carry back to headquarters in the August heat and were still laughing (and moving) at the end of the day. Thankfully, the next generation also showed up. Many thanks to the clean-up crew.
