This is how Republicans plan to steal elections they lose: throw out votes after the fact, confuse the public, and use partisan courts to change the rules. But we’re ready—and we won’t let them get away with it.

1. The Griffin case is an attack on democracy itself. This is not a legal challenge—it’s a power grab. Griffin lost by 734 votes, and now he’s asking a Republican court to overturn the result by disqualifying over 65,000 ballots. The GOP’s message is clear: if they lose, they’ll come for your vote.

2. Justice Riggs won fair and square—and the GOP couldn’t handle it. Griffin, the losing candidate, filed this lawsuit not to fix an election error, but to reverse the result. It’s no coincidence he waited until after he lost to challenge voters. He had no case—until a partisan court gave him one.

3. This ruling changes the rules after the election. North Carolina law says challenges to a voter’s eligibility must happen before Election Day. Griffin broke that rule. The Court of Appeals didn’t just let him get away with it—they opened the door to overturn the result.

4. Jefferson Griffin is trying to retroactively change the election rules because he lost, and he’s throwing our servicemembers under the bus in doing so. Many of the voters Griffin is seeking to disenfranchise are military voters who used an absentee ballot, just like Griffin did in 2020. These voters followed all the rules and voted legally, and should not be harassed simply because Griffin is a sore loser.

5. This is a test run for the GOP’s anti-voter playbook. Create a fake voter fraud narrative. Challenge the result. Let partisan courts take over. We’ve seen this before, and we’re seeing it again here in North Carolina. This cannot become the new normal. Narrative Guidance Make it simple: Griffin lost → he sued → GOP judges helped him → votes are at risk.

Name names. Jefferson Griffin. The RNC. GOP judges like John Tyson and Fred Gore. This isn’t “the system” working to keep voters down. It’s anti-democratic activists preventing the certification of a fair election.

Affirm that voters followed the rules. The rules were clear. The ballots were legal. The voters did their part. Rally behind Riggs and the voters. This is not just about one justice—it’s about tens of thousands of North Carolinians who did everything right just to have their voices stripped by the courts.
