Roger Hull imagines what Bishop Budde chose not to say at the National Cathedral on 1/21/25.

The first paragraph below is what Trump posted on Truth Social in response to Bishop Budde’s National Cathedral sermon on Jan. 21, 2025. “She brought her church into the World of politics in a very ungracious way,” he wrote on Truth Social. “She was nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart. She failed to mention the large number of illegal migrants that came into our Country and killed people. Many were deposited from jails and mental institutions. It is a giant crime wave that is taking place in the USA. Apart from her inappropriate statements, the service was a very boring and uninspiring one. She is not very good at her job! She and her church owe the public an apology!”

Below is what Bishop Budde did not say because of the person she is: He brought his administration into the world of politics in a very ungracious way. He is nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart. He failed to mention the large number of convicted Jan. 6 rioters he released that are now free and living in our country. It is the beginning of a lawless period that is taking place in the USA. Apart from his inappropriate statements, his presidency is a very disruptive one and uninspiring. He is not very good at his job and he and his administration owe the public an apology!
