If you haven’t raised your voice, do it now for the people of western NC and for our still purple NC. As many voices as possible are needed to make calls or write emails to encourage NC House Representatives to vote NO when asked to override Governor Cooper’s veto. These need to be written ASAP as a vote could possibly happen as early as Monday, 12/9/24.
Action 1: Contact the 3 Republicans who voted against SB 382 the first time and thank them for looking out for their constituents and other North Carolinians. Ask that they sustain Cooper’s veto for those affected by Hurricane Helene by voting no when asked to override the veto next week.
