There are two choices for Governor of North Carolina in the upcoming election in November. Josh Stein and the Republican, Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson.
Mark Robinson has cast doubt on whether the Holocaust occurred, calling its existence “hogwash” in 2017 Facebook posts. In addition to that radical and false statement, Robinson also calls the LGBTQ community Filth. The disgraced and indicted former President, Donald Trump, has endorsed Robinson and called him, “Martin Luther King on steroids.” Can you imagine in your wildest dreams, Martin Luther King Jr saying the holocaust was hogwash? I certainly cannot. Robinson is also bent on destroying women’s health in our state saying that he’d work to eventually abolish abortion rights in the state if elected governor. Here is one choice: the radical, extremist, Lt Governor Mark Robinson.
Josh Stein “graduated from Chapel Hill High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Dartmouth College in 1988. After college, he taught English and economics in Zimbabwe. Stein then went on to earn degrees from Harvard Law School and the Kennedy School of Government. North Carolina’s backlog of untested sexual assault kits is the nation’s largest. As Attorney General, Stein has been working toward eliminating this national embarrassment. His efforts here have paid off with new arrests in assault cases in Durham, Fayetteville and Winston-Salem. Stein has taken on drug companies and pharmacy chains and manufacturers due to the nation’s opioid epidemic and his memorandum of agreement on treatment, prevention and recovery has been recognized by Johns Hopkins School of Public Health as one of the nation’s best. He has become the first attorney general in the county to sue an E-cigarette manufacturer, Juul, for unlawful marketing to minors.
Josh Stein has been working hard for the people of North Carolina and will continue to do so as Governor. Two choices for Governor? I think there is only one – Josh Stein. Vote!
