Join the MLK Parade and walk to support reading, democratic ideals, and local 2024 Democratic candidates on Saturday, Jan. 13, 11 am – 12 noon. Meet up at 10:30 along Church Street. Look for South Main Book Company’s red bookmobile, folks you know, and future friends.

Saturday, Jan. 13, 11:00 am – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Weekend Parade will return to downtown Salisbury. Parade route is Church Street to Main Street to Bank Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.

Saturday, Jan. 13 – Community Resource Fair, Salisbury Civic Center, 12 (noon) to 2 pm. This is a community celebration for all ages. Free health screenings, access to local resource agencies and much more. Free food, school supplies and other giveaways.

Monday, Jan. 15 – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast, Salisbury Civic Center. Registration is required and registration has closed for the 2024 celebration.
