We are excited to announce an upcoming event that will delve into the critical issue of housing in our community. Join us on April 8th at 10 am for our Saturday Breakfast at the Rowan County Democratic Headquarters, located at 1504 West Innes Street, Salisbury. This month, we have the honor of hosting Hannah Jacobson, the City of Salisbury’s Community Planning Director and leader of Salisbury’s Forward 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
As our community continues to grow and evolve, it’s crucial for us to understand the current housing situation in Rowan County and what plans are in place to address future needs. During this event, Hannah Jacobson will provide insights on the local housing landscape and share the vision for growth and housing in our community. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more and ask questions about the initiatives being implemented to ensure a sustainable and thriving Rowan County.
To make the event even more enjoyable, we are hosting a potluck-style breakfast. Please feel free to bring a breakfast dish to share with fellow attendees. Doors will open at 9:45 am, giving you plenty of time to settle in and reconnect with your fellow community members.
While the event is free to attend, we kindly ask for a donation of $10 per person to help cover our monthly expenses. Your contributions enable us to continue hosting informative and engaging events like this one. If you cannot attend but would still like to donate, please visit www.actblue.com/donate/rowandemocrats.
We hope to see you on April 8th for a morning of great food, engaging conversation, and a chance to learn more about the future of housing in Rowan County. Bring your questions for Hannah Jacobson and join us in exploring this important topic together.
