If you haven’t heard Tangela Lucy Horne Morgan, our Rowan and Stanly County Democratic candidate for District 33, listen to her speech at the recent Fun Fest.

She’s ready to unseat Carl Ford and head to Raleigh. Don’t forget how important her presence can be in the General Assembly. We must stop these radical conservative initiatives

Why are you running?

I believe that a safe, thriving community is one in which the citizens are healthy, educated, and gainfully employed. Right now there are systems and policies in place that prevent the citizens of Rowan and Stanly County from thriving. We all deserve clean air and water, proper mental and physical healthcare, exemplary education, and living wages. As an elected official I will use my voice to advocate for better systems and policies for the citizens of Rowan and Stanly County.
